First I'd simply like to say, I'm sorry for not posting since the dawn of time.

This blog was originally put up simply as a proof of concept for a customer's project, however since I placed it at gregstout.com many of you expected that I would, what's the phrase I'm looking for, use it. After receiving dozens of delightful snipping email I have decided to shock you all by indeed doing that thing which you never thought I would do. Write in my blog.

Okay we're heading into the first week of the job hunt, and already I've found some great opportunities!

Beautiful Nashua

There's a small marketing firm in Nashua, that I have worked with over the past couple years.  We’re in discussions about bringing me on board as the Dir. of Web Development. This is a really exciting opportunity, but not without its significant challenges, and I have much to consider before proceeding.

I'm also looking at a startup company in Boston called Carbonite. I began initial discussions with them and it looks like a great company.

Carbonite basically offers an online file backup service. You subscribe annually and can back-up as much material as you want. It's fully automated and includes some decent encryption.

I'm sure most of you know, although some may not, that Ektron abruptly ended the usability work I had been doing there.

If you know me well, you know that I'm always getting offers from different people I’ve worked with in the past so it’s not the end of the world. I am instead looking at this as an opportunity to find myself a new truly exceptional position in the New England area. For years I've been amassing a rather eclectic skills set and I think it's time to find a place that skill set can be fully utilized.
